I can’t say it’s belle Kinkora – grey,damp ( not wet) and humdrum – rather than gorgeous, sunny and exciting. School holidays are finished and there are a few more people about but other than incessant building activity not a lot happens. The Tour de France is on TV and though I admire the OZ blokes getting into it I wish Cadel did not look quite so wussy – at least they have kept out of drugs so far. I had one of my families here from SA for a few days which livened things up – went to the MCG but the Crows got beaten by the Pies unfortunately – nasty rough lot! Thanks for the slice of European life. Cheers.Ruth.

How absolutely gorgeous news from you!! Following on Ivan et Elena’s request ours is that you guys ride a velib (I love that word) around with stripy long sleeve tees on and onion garlands around your neck. If thats no can do than just say hello to beautiful France from wee Pip and Jorje whilst you enjoy the splendid….
